Hello, my wonderful students and parents! I hope you have all taken some time to enjoy summer, we have had some truly gorgeous days. I would love to hear about your adventures in the comment section below, let me know any fun trips you've taken, life changes, experiences, etc. I'll let you in on a secret that not many people know... I'm getting a dog! I am getting a black lab, his name will be Riker and he is currently 3 weeks old! We still haven't heard any confirmed decision about next year but we should hear soon! Now with that in mind I want to share with you a summer review packet. This packet is optional but it will begin to get you back into the grove of school and give you time to clear out those cobwebs before 5th grade. I have attached the packet below, please let me know if you need any help. Remember you can go back to our previous post for videos and support with certain math topics or look back in your workbook. If you still need some reminders please reach out to me on Class Dojo. - Hope to see you soon! Ms. O'Shea

Hello Travelers! This week we will be combining your math and science time to hit our last standard for the year, data and graphing! This post will cover your assignments Monday - Thursday, please make sure you are only completing today's assignment. You're almost there! Check out the project overview by clicking the button below: Background: Water Bottle ChallengeLet's take a look at where this all started and where your project is headed, this trend /obsession all started during a High School Senior Talent Show. The water bottle flipping trend started in 2016 when a high school senior, Mike Senatore, decided that instead of singing or dancing at the school talent show, he would perform an epic water bottle flip. And so it began.
P.S - Parents, I'm sorry. Please make sure your students are collecting the data and not just attempting trick shots, there will be a day specifically for that. Monday: Finding the Perfect Bottle
Tuesday: Finding the Perfect Water Level
Wednesday: Attempt your Trick Shots
